the odd thing is that once an image is in the mind - bit like the way we imagine characters in book - it stays the same, even though we become aware of how people really look. You will still look the same to me for a while. :-)
This even happens with people I know personally! When they are not there and I think of them I imagine their 'character' and, although similar, they are not quite the same. But that could be just me. Better get to the shore - these are deep waters!
