Cold, wet. We do a good line in mud, if anyone's short of a bucketful or two? All passing vehicles slosh. The Commune man has been gardening at the church regardless of the rain, and has gone by with a trailer load of gold leaves - a bright moment in a grey day.
Up at 6am to go to a market, but when we got there the wind almost bowled us over. Went for coffee and croissants while we hung around to see if the wind was going to show any signs of dropping. Eventually gave up and came home to drink the tea from our flasks and eat our packed lunch. Leftover trout from the other day with avocado and mayo, in case you were wondering!
